I have a beautiful best friend, her name is Sophie and we have been best friends since 9th grade.
She is loyal, smart, funny, wild, true and would kill for me. I would do the same for her.
Sophie is having a baby girl in September and i cant even express how excited i am that i will have a new best friend to spoil, play make believe with and let her do all the things her parents wont let her.
This shoot was really special to me.

I absolutely loved shooting this wedding besides the fact that Jeff and Shay are two dear friends of mine, it was such a beautiful wedding full of warmth and love and so much fun!
Shay and the girls got ready at the Se Hotel in Downtown San Diego which is one of the most picturesque hotels to photograph in. It is super contemporary with a great interior design that is dark and warm and loungy.
They had their ceremony at The Founders Chapel on USD’s beautiful campus. There were so many great places to photograph it was almost overwhelming.
Then we made it over to El Cortez which is one of my favorite locations for a reception, it is unlike any other venue with its round room and gothic design.
Lindsay Longacre of LVL Events was Jeff and Shay’s wedding planner, she did an amazing job and is really one of my favorite new wedding planners to work with. Her demeanor is calming and she is extremely detail oriented and has a wonderful vision for design.
I loved the idea of shooting these glamorous shoes in a nature like setting. So much yummy texture!

My dear friend Jaime is getting ready to pursue a dream of hers to become an actress.
To describe Jaime in a few words…Successful, driven, gorgeous, lighthearted, FUN, funny, down to earth, real, tiny…i can go on and on…
She is by far one of my favorite people to be around and i am super excited to be able to help her in pursuing this dream of hers.
We took an afternoon in Newport Beach and took some pretty pictures.
COOL NEW HAIR TREATMENT!
I have been hearing alot lately about the Brazilian Blowout and when my hairstylist Amy Anderson told me she got certified i immediately jumped on the bandwagon. Amy is an amazing stylist who i completely trust and she really stressed how good my hair would look and how easy it would be for me to style.
My hair is naturally wavy and very frizzy and actually takes alot of work to get straight and shiny. My hair probably takes about 30-40 minutes every morning between the blowdrying and straight ironing. I can only imagine how damaging that is to my hair!
So today while i was getting my hair colored, Amy suggested we do the Brazilian Blowout Treatment which through the use of a Brazilian Super Nutrient Complex and a proprietary polymer system, the Brazilian Blowout actually improves the condition of the hair by creating a protective protein layer around the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle. That sounded good to me.
The whole process took about an hour and a half. She washed my hair with a special shampoo and then put on the solution section by section, then she blowdrys each section straight. In order to seal the solution to the cuticle she then straight irons your hair and then you are done!.
My hair has a completley different look and feel to it. It is so soft and straight and super shiny and it is supposed to stay this way for 10-12 weeks.
I am looking forward to rolling out of bed with cute hair!

The before is very scary as you can see… and the after..ahhhhhhhmazing! Its is supposed to last up to 3 months! Yeah!

I love breaking out of my norm and doing some fashion work especially when i am working with professional models.
These days we want to do anything to prevent wrinkles and premature aging of the skin yet we want to be tan and beautiful so there really is only one answer Spray Tanning.
If you get spray tanned chances are it’s a Million Dollar Tan and Founder Lindsay Alderson is constantly thinking of new products to extend and beautify her solution.
For this shoot we are working on Million Dollar Tans new catalog and web presence.
We had 4 gorgeous models, lots of fun props and plenty of beautiful natural and artificial light. We had an overcast day but we brought the light to the beach to make it look like a sun shiny day.
I photographed Kim and Dave’s Wedding a couple of years ago and since then they made a new addition to their family, Baby Ella.
With Father’s day around the corner they thought it would be a perfect time to do a family portrait, not to mention Ella is already 16 months. She was the cutest thing to photograph, her laugh and smile can brighten up any day. Thankfully our day was full of sun and smiles.

Virginia really knows how to throw a bridal shower! Lucky Sana to have such a great friend put so much love and detail into her bridal shower.
This is by far the most elaborate, stunning bridal shower i have ever seen!
I call this the Sweet Spot…Candy,cookies, cakes all things sugary!

I had been looking forward to Corey and Kali’s B’nai Mitzvah for almost a year now. Commonly known as a ‘Coming-of-Age’ ceremony, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah marks a time in one’s life in which they become a Jewish adult.
Working with Orange Counties newest Event Planning team of Once Upon A Mitzvah, Nicole Chaness and Sharon Gall from Once upon a time weddings was amazing!
One of my favorite parts about this event was the photoshoots we had done prior to the big day of Corey and his “Rockstar” inspired on location photoshoot and Kali and her High Fashion studio photoshoot , I really got to know Corey and Kali personally and was so proud of them for completing such a huge step in their lives.
With Sharon’s help Nicole planned what turned out to be one heck of a Mitzvah for Corey and Kali complete with Airbrush tattoo artists, professional dancers, photo booths, a caricature artist, cake pops and so much more!

One of my highlights was to see my work hanging in one of Laguna Beach’s best galleries, and one of my favorite places for weddings and events Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach Nicole had huge canvases of my photos of Corey and Kali made to decorate the gallery walls.
